Using a compass:
- Open the top cover of the compass (if it is closed) to see the compass needle.
- Hold the compass horizontally so that the needle can move freely.
- Wait until the needle stabilizes and points north. The needle has a tip that points to the north (N).
2. Using a sundial:
- Set the compass so that the needle points north.
- Sundials work when the sun is visible. Open the arms of the sundial to create a shadow on the dial.
- Adjust the arm (gnomon) to the appropriate angle, depending on the time of day and the latitude.
- The shadow cast on the clock face will indicate the current solar time.
3. Storage:
- After use, close the compass and sundial if they have a cover to protect the mechanism.
- Store the device in a dry place to avoid damage to the leather strap or metal components.

We personalize each item by hand in our workshop. All products are new and original, and some of them are handmade, so they may slightly differ from each other.
7. Is engraving an additional charge?
No, the engraving service is included in the order price, but if you prefer, you can also order the product without personalization.
8. Do I have to use the creator, or can I just provide the text for engraving?
Absolutely - just add your guidelines in the order notes, or send us an email at shop@michaelserge.com.

9. Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, we have an additional service - we pack orders as gifts, taking the occasion into account. The products are carefully packed in hay and accessories, and depending on the selected variant – placed in an elegant box and decorated with a ribbon.
