The history of the Orient brand is a rich story of passion, innovation, and unwavering determination, which has resulted in exceptional watches that have gained recognition worldwide. The company's beginnings date back to 1901, when Shogoro Yoshida established a small watch manufacturing company in Hino, on the outskirts of Tokyo.

Yoshida, a passionate watchmaker, decided to produce pocket watches, and his goal was to create products of the highest quality that could compete with the best European brands. Within a few years, the company gained a reputation and recognition, and in 1920 it changed its name to "Orient Watch Company."

During the interwar period, Orient increased production and exported its watches to China, Korea, and India, and after World War II began expanding into Western markets, especially to the USA. In the 1950s and 1960s, the company expanded its range by introducing men's watches, and then women's watches.

In 1971, Orient became part of the large corporation Seiko, which allowed for even greater expansion and development of the company. In the 1980s and 1990s, Orient focused on the production of watches with automatic movements, whose quality and precision gained recognition among watch enthusiasts worldwide.

In the years 2000-2010, Orient introduced innovative technical solutions to the market, such as a GPS time regulation system, as well as hybrid watches combining automatic and quartz mechanisms. In 2017, Orient presented its latest creation – a watch from the "Star Wars" series, inspired by popular space films.

Today, Orient is one of the leading watch manufacturers in the world, offering a wide range of products for both women and men. The brand remains true to its roots and continues the tradition of producing high-quality watches with precise mechanisms that are appreciated by watch enthusiasts around the globe.
